1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Loqi ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of the App
Loqi is a free, peer-to-peer communication app that creates a direct audio channel between two nearby iPhone users through their Bluetooth headphones. The App requires no account or cloud audio relay. Keep Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled and complete the app's connection checks before calling.
Conversations are intended for real-time personal communication between paired devices. The App does not provide recording, transcription, cloud relay, account sync, or text messaging.
3. Eligibility
To use Loqi, you must have a compatible device and operating environment, including an iPhone with Nearby Interaction precise distance support, Bluetooth headphones, and iOS 17 or later. See the supported device list. Device availability, operating system features, and hardware support may affect whether the App functions as intended.
There is no age restriction beyond the general App Store age rating assigned to the App.
4. Acceptable Use
You may use Loqi only for lawful purposes and personal communication. You are responsible for how you use the App and for complying with laws, rules, and policies that apply where you use it.
- Do not use the App for harassment, threats, unlawful activity, or communication that violates another person's rights.
- Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, disrupt, or tamper with the App.
- Do not use the App in situations where audio communication could be dangerous, distracting, or prohibited, including while operating heavy machinery or in places where electronic devices are banned.
5. Intellectual Property
Loqi, including its design, code, branding, name, logo, and related assets, is owned by Kim Fajardo (dba DevKPF). These terms do not grant you ownership of the App or any related intellectual property.
You may not copy, distribute, sell, sublicense, or use the Loqi name, logo, or assets without prior written permission from Kim Fajardo (dba DevKPF).
6. No Warranty
Loqi is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kim Fajardo (dba DevKPF) disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the App will operate without interruption, error, delay, interference, or compatibility issues. Audio quality and connection reliability may depend on hardware, operating system behavior, environmental conditions, wireless interference, device proximity, and headphone configuration.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kim Fajardo (dba DevKPF) is not liable for any damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, Loqi.
This includes, but is not limited to, missed communications, audio quality issues, connection failures, device compatibility problems, data loss, business interruption, personal injury, indirect damages, incidental damages, consequential damages, special damages, or punitive damages, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Termination
You may stop using Loqi at any time by deleting the App from your device. Deleting the App removes its local profile storage. There is no developer-operated account or call history to delete.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.
